Silvia Crastan – Violin

Silvia Crastan studied in Switzerland with Nicolas Chumachenco, Corrado Romano, Urs Walker and Ulrich Lehmann and obtained the teaching and concert diplomas. Additional experience includes masterclasses with V. Pikaisen and W. Wilkomirska. In 1995 she was invited to the European Mozart Academy in Krakau (Polen). Besides prizes at national and international youth competitions, she was winning a Scholarships from the "Dienemann-Stiftung" (Lucerne) and the municipality Evilard (Fond Suri), which funded further study in London at the "Guildhall School of Music & Drama".

Since 2001 she works as a freelance musician in London, teaching her own violin class and initiating concert projects.

Eva Crastan Kaestner – Piano

Eva Crastan was born in Basel. She gave her undivided attention to music obtaining teaching and concert diplomas, tutored by R. Petkova, K.-A. Kolly and Daniel Höxter. Awards include prizes at national and international youth competitions. She has attended masterclasses with V. Merzhanov, H. Francesch and represented Switzerland at the international "Maraton pianistico" in Spain.

After studies at the University of Zurich, Basel and Lund (Sweden) she got a MA in Musicology, Literature and Music Management.

Besides her concert activity, she is director of the music school in Rothrist.
